Sony Electronics:
Successfully streamlined company’s distribution network as well as negotiated consumer media manufacturing within Sony Magnéticos de Mexico in lieu of Japan, Europe & Thailand. This accelerated the financial efficiencies of our distribution network as well as improved product turnover with a 15-25 days transit vs 45-65 historical order days of transit.
Komatsu Latin America:
Transferred our Equipment (Construction & Mining Divisions), the entire Miami stock operation (Domestic & In-Bond) to Manzanillo, Panama without creating a fiscal presence within this in- transit country of Panama. This signified cost operation reduction in excess of 45%.
Recorded within what is considered a cost center (Logistics division) a $1.6M gross profit within the Mining division during the FY 2007.
SC Line & Fast Terminal:
Developed from start up all US Roro and Vehicle Processing Operations, inclusive of building sales, Ops, Compliance, IT teams.
I was also instrumental in the buyout negotiation and our two companies of 100% SC Line’s commercial rights as well as 50% of Fast Terminal’s shares of its terminal operations in Port Everglades, Fl, Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Similarly finally secured the jobs of all our 100 employees. This ensures that the business culture and teams dynamic remained in place to secure a successful business transition with minimal or zero disturbances to our RoRo and Terminal Ops business clients.
Tree Logistics:
Developed from inception all US Operations of this NVOCC/FF, delivering a business with sales, accounting and Ops teams generating $300k/month with a 12% avg. gross profit margin.
